My background
Hello all! I’m a Texas native born and raised with a BA in English. I love learning, creating, and sharing what I have learned with others. In addition to my love of learning, I also have a unique ability to step outside of the box and see situations from a different angle. I have 9+ years of creating and implementing learning experiences. When I am not working, I'm challenging myself to learn new skills and new software that I can implement in my creative and professional outlets. I used the ADDIE model when developing course material for maximum impact. Some of the programs I use to create learning experiences are:

My experience
- I started developing learning pathways in 2015 when I worked in K-12 education.
- 2018 - I worked for several online English as a second language education programs which fostered my passion for online Instructor Led Training and E-Learning.
- In 2019, the institution I worked for started implementing online learning.
- When COVID shut down the schools in 2020, I transitioned all of my curriculum to e-learning and started exploring new software for creating learning experiences.
- 2021 - I transitioned full-time to Corporate Instructional Design.
- 2022 - Created Maine's Mind Media and Design, LLC
Since then, I have worked for several companies in contract and freelance roles. I use various authoring tools on projects ranging from rebranding and transitioning ILT to E-Learning to developing new e-learning content, job aids, infographics, facilitator and participant guides, and more.
